Israeli attacks leave at least 20 dead in Gaza

A terror attack occurred at Bondi Beach during the first night of Hanukkah, with gunmen using semi-automatic rifles to target innocent families on Australia’s most famous beach. The attack has drawn international condemnation and expressions of solidarity, with vigils held at Australia House in London and criticism from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding Australia’s Palestinian statehood recognition. Streets around Bondi remain blocked as authorities and the community process what is being described as one of Australia’s worst massacres.
