‘There are two genders’: Trump administration will intervene in states failing to protect women

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt responds to Riley Gaines’ question on whether the administration will take action against states that don’t have gender protections for women.
“We’ve taken action on a number of fronts against these states who are failing to uphold the president’s executive orders,” Ms Leavitt said.
“This administration policy of simply protecting women in women’s sports and women’s private spaces.
“There are two genders, there are two sexes, and that’s not something we should be afraid to say in this country.”
