Former UK Labour MP Denis MacShane weighs in on Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s apology over appointing Peter
Mandelson as UK ambassador to the US, despite knowledge of his links to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
“I’ve never heard a prime minister of any sort apologise to the British people for a mistake he made,” Mr MacShane told Sky News host Caleb Bond.
“He’s just tied to too many small mistakes.”
