Trial Underway for Uvalde Officer’s Response to School Shooting

A trial is now underway for a former school police officer accused of failing to respond to the 2022 Uvalde school shooting. Adrian Gonzales, one of the first officers on the scene, is now the first to stand trial and has pleaded not guilty to 29 counts of child abandonment or endangerment.
