Trump on school bombing during Iran war that killed over 100 children: ‘Nobody did that on purpose’

When asked June 17 about the bombing of an Iranian school early in the war in February, which killed more than 100 children, President Donald Trump said it was still under investigation but that nobody should be blamed.
“Nobody did that on purpose,” Trump said. “Mistakes are made. War is nasty. But I know it’s under investigation.”
Trump called it “strange” that he was asked if anyone in his administration would be held accountable. His rebuttal if the U.S. military was at fault was that Iran had killed thousands of soldiers killed by roadside bombs.
