0 January 8, 2026 12:56

The Delhi Police have intensified their investigation into the Turkman Gate violence, focusing on ‘instigators’ who allegedly used social media to provoke the mob. The probe names YouTuber Salman and influencer Ayman Rizvi for spreading misinformation about the demolition drive near Faiz-e-Ilahi Mosque. While police confirm no damage to the mosque, Samajwadi Party leader S.T. Hasan warned that ‘selective action’ on religious sites could spark unrest. The report details the arrests of 11 individuals and the use of facial recognition to identify stone pelters.
