UK population has ‘suffered’ from the government’s ‘neutered’ approach to Iran

Writer and Broadcaster Esther Krakue discusses the United Kingdom’s closing of its embassy in Tehran.
“With the ongoing protests and the rising tension in Iran, British officials felt it was safer to evacuate members and people that are working in the embassy in Tehran,” Ms Krakue told Sky News host Steve Price.
“Unfortunately, Britain hasn’t really, especially for the last few decades, really been known for taking strong, hard, firm stances, especially when it comes to Iran.
“The British state, for a long time, has been neutered on its approach to Iran and, you know, the country has suffered for it.”
