A US tennis star has brutally shut down a liberal journalist attempting to force her to criticise President Donald Trump.
On Tuesday, 24-year-old women’s tennis star Amanda Anisimova spoke to the media following her second victory in the Australian Open.
During the post-match victory, Anisimova was forced to answer a question about US politics rather than her stunning performance.
The reporter began his question by announcing that he had asked several US players “how it feels to play under the American flag”.
Anisimova delivered a classy response, revealing she was “born in America” and that she is “always proud to represent my country”.
