Geologist Ian Plimer details how US President Donald Trump has told US trade officials to negotiate with Australia concerning their critical minerals supply.
“We survive on minerals, if we don’t have cement … if we don’t have steel … and if we don’t have energy, we don’t have society,” Mr Plimer told Sky News Senior Reporter Caroline Marcus.
“Minerals are absolutely vital for the modern society.”
