Vice President JD Vance said talks to end fighting in southern Lebanon, where persistent fighting between the Israeli military and Hezbollah has threatened to upend negotiations to end the war in Iran, were still a “work in progress.”

CNN political and global affairs analyst Barak Ravid reacts to the new Lebanon de-confliction mechanism. Also, CNN military analyst Cedric Leighton and CNN national security analysts Alex Plitsas and Beth Sanner weigh in on the latest from the negotiations
