Who shot Tupac? Keffe D interview played at murder trial provides account of 1996 shooting in Vegas

A previously unreleased interview between Duane ‘Keffe D’ Davis and LAPD detectives was played during the 2026 Tupac murder trial, 30 years after a fatal shooting took the rapper’s life.
The detectives told Davis, who spoke with authorities in hopes of avoid drug related charges, that the contents of the interview could not be used against him. He told police the 1996 shooting in Las Vegas occurred when he was in a car with Terrence “Bubble Up” Brown., Davis’ nephew, Orlando “Baby Lane” Anderson, and Davis’ fellow South Side Compton Crips member DeAndre “Dre” Smith.
