World leaders push back against Trump’s Greenland and EU tariffs threats

World leaders are standing united against US President Donald Trump’s ambition of US control of Greenland.
Speaking on a panel on Europe’s future in Davos, global leaders from the EU have criticised some of the American leader’s foreign policies.
Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney argues the world is in the middle of a rupture of order.
“Powers have begun using economic integration as weapons. Tariffs as leverage, financial infrastructure is coercion, supply chains as vulnerabilities to be exploited,” Mr Carney said.
“We stand firmly with Greenland and Denmark and fully support their unique right to determine Greenland’s future.”
