US stocks diverged on Thursday amid fresh doubts about President Trump’s ability to end the war with Iran and a potential shake-up to the booming AI trade.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average (^DJI) rose over 1.7%, or more than 850 points. The benchmark S&P 500 (^GSPC) added 0.5%, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite (^IXIC) came back from losses to rise 0.2%.
