US President Donald Trump and New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani have reportedly exchanged “friendly” texts at least twice a week.
According to the New York Post, sources have claimed the pair’s unlikely bromance has blossomed since Mamdani’s White House visit last November.
Sources revealed that Mamdani and Trump have been chatting regularly about various topics, such as the arrest of Nicolas Maduro and New York real estate.
The mayor and president’s texts have been described as “friendly”, according to sources with knowledge of their conversations.
“It wouldn’t make practical, political sense for them to scream at each other — in public or private. Of course, they can’t appear too cozy,” a source revealed.
