Aug 9 '22The Beast movie appears to be similar to the Cançados movie where the Newman family is on vacation in Africa. They plan a safari to an animal reserve, but Tom (Peter Weller) doesn't board due to urgent work. With that travel only Jessica (Carly Schroeder) and David (Conner Dowds), their children, and Amy (Bridget Moynahan), Tom's new wife. To make the trip more exciting Brian (Marius Roberts), the guard at the reserve, decides to take them down an alternate route. They stop when they reach the Crocodile River, which is now nothing more than a vast, dry riverbed.
