Astronaut Victor Glover on Achieving Astronaut Emeritus Status

Astronaut Victor Glover was part of the elite crew on the historic Artemis II mission and now, he is officially taking a step back and retiring as an active astronaut. Glover reveals that he is taking on a new role as astronaut emeritus. “Making space, making room for my colleagues to go out and do big things while I sit in a support role… that’s something that’s really important to me.” he says. Glover also talks about his new role at Cal Poly, and how he is looking forward to spending more time with his kids.
