The president of the Federative Republic of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), said on the Chinese state television station, CCTV, that he will not sell Brazilian state companies and defended commercial transactions between countries without going through the dollar.

“We don’t want to be a seller of just commodities or a state-owned company. What Brazil wants to propose to China is that we need to build a hundred new things. That includes highways, railroads, ports, airports, industries, chemical companies and new investments “, said Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.

Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva defended that it is necessary to advance in Brazil’s relationship with China, not only in the economic and trade issues, but in issues such as science and technology, agreements between universities and the energy transition.
